The visit to Las Tintorerars was one of the highlights of my Galapagos trip. It began with a boat ride out to the reef and lava tunnels where we saw a penguin roosting. Then we did snorkeling around the reef. While I only saw one shark and no sea turtles, there were more tropical fish here than in Los Tuneles or on Floreana Island. The highlight was the white-tipped lava fields that we walked through, observing sharks resting in the channel beside the field, baby iguanas and crabs and friendly sea lions. On the way back we saw blue-footed boobies and a bunch of penguins on the rocks. Between the varied animals and the cool lava formations, this was a terrific place.

We saw a Galapagos penguin on the rocks and got to walk the lava fields but there wasn't as much to interest me here as other places eg Kicker Rock when in San Cristobal.
Didn't see much from the boat either.
Saw alot of birds, including boobies when headed out to Los Tuneles but not on this excursion.

We booked the tour through our tour provider Takiri but the guide was unfriendly and impolite. She never gave anyone the wet suits for snorkeling and was rushing everything.
I feel the los toneles is better for snorkeling. This was waste of time.

We went on a tour as part of a larger G adventures tour. Luckily we got to the spot early and were the first boat. We saw rays, a penguin, reef sharks, white tipped sharks, turtles, fish and a seahorse. There was also a walk around the tunnels which was impressive. The water visibility was not amazing but good enough to see all the wildlife. Overall a great day out, I would recommend.

Nice trip for 50 USD. Main attraction are the pinguins of which we saw half a dozen. Lots of Iguanas and turtles , and sea lions but not a single reef shark.

Went with the Pahoehoe tour agency who were excellent. Saw a ton of blue footed boobies, iguanas, sea lions and a group of white top sharks in a cavern. Easy trip - close to main harbor and reasonably priced.

Besides excellent snorkeling we were able to view many animals in their natural habitat. The water was so clear and calm. We swam with sharks, sea turtles, sea lions, penguins and many other fish.

This has a lot of day trippers on it - large group, many cannot swim well and the guide focuses on them. You see similar seascape and the white tipped sharks on the Tunnels tour.

this place is fantastic to see all kinds of wildlife. We took a day trip out there and it was a definite highlight of our trip. Our guide was very eager to show us everything. Sea turtles, sharks, seahorses, blue footed boobies, octopus and giant manta rays on the way out and back. Don't hesitate, book this trip now!
