More
Cley Marshes is the oldest Wildlife Trust nature reserve in the country having been purchased in 1926 to be held "in perpetuity as a bird breeding sanctuary". Today Cley Marshes is one of the country's most popular birdwatching sites, attracting over 110,000 visitors each year. The award winning centre was opened in 2007 and features interactive interpretation, regularly changing exhibitions and a well stocked gift and book shop. There is also a large cafe which serves tasty local produce and offers panoramic views over the marshes and coastline. 2015 Has seen the opening of the new Simon Aspinall Wildlife Education Centre, which provides a fascinating and informative mix of interactive interpretation, exhibitions, events, activities and education programme.

A very modern environmentally sustainable building with a range of facilities, basically revolving around local wildlife but when we were there there the Centre was also participating in the Cley18 art event. A reasonably good cafe with probably the finest view in Norfolk.

Fantastic exhibitions and cafe with a good choice of tasty and healthy food. Brilliant access to hides and binoculars. Really helpful staff. We spent a lovely couple of hours here surrounded by awesome scenery.

Lovely spot in North Norfolk. Busy even when we were done there on a wet and miserable Easter weekend! Worth a visit, lovely village too.
