We visited the Queen Elizabeth Botanical Center, and learned about the Iguana Recovery Program Tour, so we came back to do that. It was amazing!! Our guide Alberto was fantastic!! He clearly has love and passion about preserving and protecting the Blue Iguanas!!! He gave an excellent tour of their program and helped us learn a great deal about the... More

Was informational....and we got to see a blue iguana in the parking lot by accident. They were nice enough to take us around in a good cart since my stepmother couldn't walk well.

We popped into the QE botanical garden on the East Side. There we heard about the 11am Blue Iguana Tour. Expensive at USA$30 per head but as my wife is very keen on reptiles plus it helps support the recovery program, we went back a few days later to do the tour. We were the only two signed up so... This is a beautiful place that has made a huge difference! Blue Iguanas were almost extinct, but because of this facility, their numbers have increased and there are hundreds. Once they are born and are healthy, they release them into the park where they live and roam freely. The tour is great because you can learn about their care and... More

Botanical gardens and a tour of the Iguana sanctuary. You need tickets for the Iguana portion and its only at certain times. There are loose Iguanas in the garden too, if you dont make it for the tour. Also check under your car before leaving, there were a few in the parking lot also!

We stopped at the QE Botanical Gardens and purchased the Blue Iguana Recovery Tour recently while visiting for 2 weeks. It was a nice change of pace and gave a different perspective of yet another facet of life on Grand Cayman. Alberto did an outstanding job explaining the program and sharing his personal experiences. Everyone leaves from the gift shop... More

There's not a ton to do on the North Side so we saw the Blue Iguana program/tour. The folks working were very nice and informative but at $30/per person, it's definitely not the islands best value.

Love big lizards? Go here, see them, learn how to help protect them. They do a great job of all the above!

Seeng how they love and care for these exotic and endangered iguanas at their breeding Recovery Center is amazing. Seeing these absolutely amazing creatures close up and personal in their habitats is something I'll never forget. It was interesting to me once I saw them at the Recovery Center I noticed them in the wild more. Remember by buying your... More

Flora & fauna is amazing--as one would expect. What impressed me the most was the layout of the paths that clearly were designed for comfort & convenience. We didn't glimpse the Blue Iguana but pretty sure they saw us.
