First Class Experience - West Coast Safari, Olive, Beer and Wine Tasting – Day Tour

We were privileged to have a private tour with Ian.
As soon as he arrived at our hotel we could tell immediately that Ian was a perfectionist. Ian’s mini bus was spotless, he was punctual and very friendly. We could tell straight away that we were going to have a great day. Ian is a lovely guy, very knowledgeable and informative and always had our best interests at heart.
Ian took us to Buffelsfontein the game reserve, where we had a great experience. The people there were also very friendly. We were lucky enough to see all the animals, get up close to them and be able to take some great photos.
Ian then took us onto the Olive farm where we did some olive tasting which was very interesting. After that we went to a lovely place for lunch where we also did some wine tasting. It was really great.
We would thoroughly recommend Ian and would have no hesitation in using him again on our next trip to Cape Town.

The experience to beat in cape town!
Just finished an outstanding day tour with Ian. Ian was funny, friendly and very knowledgeable. We had a brilliant time just chatting with him about averting from history, politics and culture. The tour itself was perfect in every aspect. Before the day ended we were desperately looking for slots in his schedule for another tour! And to top it all off he takes amazing photos!

What an Amazing tour of Cape Town, Cape of Good Hope!
Spectacular Day at Cape of Good Hope with African Moon Adventure.

Ian, our tour guide was amazing. We saw Cape Town's beautiful coastline from Ian's viewpoint. We were picked up from the hotel, The Westin introduced to Ian, and began our tour of Cape Town. Our tour started at 8 am and ended at 4 by that time Ian had become our friend. Ian shared with us the history of Cape Town, his great sense of humor, and his sights. We visited the Cape of Good Hope, climbed to the top of the lighthouse, visited the famous penguins, and enjoyed a great lunch with Ian at a wonderful seafood restaurant.

Ian was absolutely wonderful, and at end of the day, he had become family.

Fantastic private Cape Town tour!
Ian was such a wonderful, insightful guide! We were a group of 5 adults and 2 kids (10 and 8). He brought us to Table Mountain to see the stunning views, Boulders Beach to see the cute South African penguins, Kalk Bay to see the beautiful colorful fishing boats, seals and local catch - we had a healthy insanely delicious lunch at Whole Earth Cafe, he drove us through the Bo-Kapp district etc. Ian was a wealth of info and a wonderful person to spend the afternoon with! We would love to go back to South Africa and do one of his other tours!

African Moon Cape Tour

Booked a tour with Ian Renecle of African Moon in September, 2022, to see the Cape Point, penguins, ostrich farm and all beautiful scenery in btween. Ian was very informative regarding all points of interest, and was more than willing to stop at various scenic points for pictures. All in all, just a wonderful day of discovery and it was that much more fun and informative with Ian as our guide. Would highly recommend his services.

Fantastic experience! We just had an amazing day in South Africa with our tour guide Ian, African Moon Adventures. About an hour after being picked up at the waterfront we were on safari hunting the African big five. We spotted so many species including snakes, giraffes, buffalo, lions, jaguar, ostrich, springbok, bison, wild beasts….the list goes on. Then we set off on a locals tour of the area, olives, toffees, wines, beer etc off the beaten track from the usual tourist attractions which I loved! Ian was fantastic at adapting the trip slightly for us, being white wine drinkers, he took us to GROOTE POST vineyard for a larger variety in white wine. Nothing was a rush at all. Ian even stopped along the coastline for photographs for us with table mountain in the background and kite surfers a tad closer. Highly recommend 💞

I can’t tell you how wonderful Ian was as a tour guide! We had a great time as he always made sure we were comfortable and was willing to “go the extra mile” to make our trip fantastic! He truly loves sharing his love for his country!

Great day out with Ian
My wife and I had a fantastic day out with Ian around all the sites of cape of good hope, cape point, boulders beach, chapmans peak etc too many beautiful stops to include them all.
Ian was always engaging and informative throughout and very professional and has a great sense of humour and makes a nice tea or coffee. Even our lunch stop was the best , beautiful food and good company.
I could not recommend Ian highly enough, thanks for a great day out, very much appreciated.

A brilliant 3 days experiencing Cape Town and beyond.

4 of us - young at heart but no so young of limb (2 cousins plus husbands) had a brilliant 3 days being taken around many Cape Town areas.
Being with Ian was like being with a well trusted friend who knew the area so well, and he quickly sensed what we would want to being doing, and he painlessly and efficiently organised our days for us.
We thoroughly enjoyed all our, very varied, experiences and thoroughly recommend African Moon Adventures to any group who wants their hands held in getting to see the areas around Cape Town.

The limbs moved along the mountain, Cape Point, Winelands etc. just fine. Thank you for the lovely review and the 3 days I could spend with you all. It was a fun experience for me too. Appreciate the recommendation to other possible travellers to Cape Town.

Cape of Good Hope tour ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had an amazing time on this tour!!! My gf and I loved all the viewpoints, activities and the overall experience. Ian the guide was super knowledgeable and was very communicative. He speaks perfect English and Afrikaans which was so cool to hear!

His van was brand new and super clean, and stocked with water, tea, coffee, snacks etc. He arranged the tour such that we arrived to every destination at the perfect time and never had to wait. He even knew what time the funicular’s power was cut, so we caught the last tram downhill just minutes before they lost power (rolling blackouts).

He took great pics and suggested the best spots to take photos. I really can’t say enough great things about Ian, the tour, and Cape Town.

Five stars without a doubt!!!!
