A well maintained castle, the foundations of which were already laid in the 13th century. Through the ages it had it's ups and downs: rebuilt, enlarged, burnt down by French troops and until 1976 home of a wealthy Dutch family. In 1977 it was made...More

We felt like this castle was a waste of our time and money. The guide, although he speaks some English, did not explain even one word in English (except "we have to hurry" when a nice couple explained a few words to us in English...More

Didn't have much time to go inside so only walked around in the garden. It's beautiful castle from outside, surrounded by water. Yes, we're looking forward to come back again.

the gardens are public and very beautifull. Take a stroll though the beautifull landscape and perfect cut trees. End with a coffee with cake or wine with cheese at the cafe!

Beautiful castle with clear and elaborated history. It's engaging and fun with different costume you can put on for photos. The surrounding outside the castle is worth a walk. Little cafe is nice to sit down for a cup for cappuccino. Will be back again.
