A good trip back in time. Well presented going through the ages. Once you have done the main hall, go across to the "store" where there are many more exhibits with knowledgeable staff very keen to explain everything.

I would say a three year old would be bored. not a lot for him to do there.

I'm not sure about tour operators having a bus service from London to the museum as it is approx 1hr 30 mins from London. However, there are train stations not far from the museum and then a bus service from those railway... More
