Excellent, well marked trail leading (down) to Arazim Valley with beautiful views and blooming flowers. Best when not so hot as now.

We walked down the National Parks authorities green trail, it is well marked and one cannot get lost. The valley includes every possible aspect of this country. From catacombs dating back to the second temple period, to shady caves, wall climbing and in the early morning one may view a "bamby" and baby fox chasing one another and yes some wild pigs as well.

The Nahal Halilim starting next to the supermarket on Shalom street in Mevasseret is a nice nature walk for families going downhill, towards Emek Haarazim. On the way are caves on both sides rumored to give away a sound of flutes when the wind is the right strength. Arrange to have car parked at the end of the valley so you don't have to climb all the way back. Take a few hours to enjoy the walk.
