Spent the day at Cascada de las Animas. Enjoyed rafting with Carlos and Simon and zip lining with the staff. The Maipo river was freezing so naturally I went swimming. Too bad the photographer was not available for our trip down the river. Went hiking with our guide from Santiago- beautiful scenery. Overall, staff is knowledgeable and facilities were clean.

Had an amazing 2 days with my family of 5 (3 adult children). We stayed in a yurt that had all the comforts of home. Went white water rafting, zip lining, hiking, and spent time at a beautiful pool surrounded by the Andes mountains. This is a must 2 or 3 day visit when in Chile. .

The place is a ecological reserve that suggest both a place to relax in the pool spa or different rooms, or multiple activities like hiking and horse riding. The place is great for both couples and families. It has great two restaurant and a small store. The only thing is that the activities are a bit expensive for my taste.

A must-do for those staying at all in Santiago. They have both a hike up to the cascade, which we did and loved– and rafting (you need to wear water shoes, though). Gorgeous scenery, a fun trek, amazing pumas.

Guided hike was fairly easy hike and was very nice. Was cool getting to see cougars (in cage) along the way.

This is an absolutely beautiful place with lots of wonderful outdoor activities, as described in my review of the hotel with the same name. However, if you intend to go by car to the end of the Camino al Volcan, beware that the quality of the road decreases significantly towards the end and on a busy day like the one... More

An unique opportunity to do 4 activities in only one location : rafting, horse riding, zip-line and trekking ! The guides speak good english and are very professionnal. The rafting was a must : one hour along the wonderful Maipo canyon. A great expérience. You can also have a lunch on the site.

Our group consisted of 12 college students (all female) from the US and 2 faculty members. We left Santiago about 9, stopped for picnic supplies, and arrived about 11:30. Ate and lounged around the pool for about an hour before getting our safety briefing for the rafting and getting dressed with wet suits, shoes, jacket, life vest and helmet. Our... More
