Banham Zoo is an award-winning family attraction and one of the most exciting zoos in the country with over 2,000 animals from around the world. Throughout the day there are plenty of activities to thrill and entertain families, including daily animal feeding talks and displays, one of the most exciting Birds of Prey displays in the UK, our amazing subtropical house "Eureka" with free-flying birds and butterflies, our "Penguin Cove" an enlarged and enhanced enclosure for the colony of penguins. Live "Amazing Animals!" presentations, beautiful big cats such as tigers, snow leopards and cheetahs, Free Safari Roadtrain, indoor and outdoor play areas, Zarafa Heights walkway, Sky Trek aerial trekking course & zip wire, and interactive fun activities in our Education Centre. As well as all the wonderful things to see and do, the zoo offers an excellent choice of eating facilities, a fantastic gift shop, free car parking, disabled facilities and much more. Open daily at 9.30am all year, except Christmas Day and Boxing Day. For admission prices and closing times please check our website

We don't normally come this early in the gear despite being massive fans of the zoo but our teen was at her friends so we decided to have a "date" there and it was as lovely as ever!!! We actually got to see the camels quite close up this time which was really lovely as they are usually quite aloof... More

This is a great family day out, unfortunately can no longer be done through Tesco club vouchers but still represents good value for money. it is lovely to just walk around and view the animals at your leisure but would recommend planning your day around the parks feeding times and displays. this is our 3rd visit and will definitely be... Had a good date out and spent several hours looking at all the animals. There are plenty of animals to see. The birds of prey display was enjoyable and the staff member (Steve?) hosting was very entertaining. The keeper talks were very informative. The only downside is the price of the entrance fee. Compared with other zoos I have visited,... More

Banham zoo is a good zoo, it's nice to walk round and a good family day out – the only reason I didn't give it five stars is just purely because of the size. When you compare Banham zoo to somewhere like Whipsnade zoo there is no comparison and I would prefer to go there each time. However, hey do... More

Zoos are big in our family we visit them a lot and have visited many, and we are pleased to add Banham Zoo to our list of lovely ones. This is a charming zoo, not too big so easy to negotiate but very well laid out so when it's busy you don't feel crowded. We spent a lovely day there.... More

We decided to visit Bangalore zoo on Saturday, we were expecting it to be busy due to the Easter bank holiday but it was brilliant, we hardly waited in the que to get in and once in we didn't know where to start. We were delighted with the barn and feeding the goats and loved the donkeys. There were plenty... More

On the last day of our Norfolk trip we researched local zoos and found Banham Zoo. What a great place. Plenty of animals, beautifully maintained grounds, large enclosures and so easy to navigate. I've been to bigger zoos but this one ticks all the boxes a great experience and I would encourage others to come asap. The giraffe experience is... More

My wife and I try to visit Banham Zoo at least once a year during our occasional visits to family near there. It's an excellent establishment, with plenty to see and experience, and praiseworthy for striving hard to conserve endangered species. It's also surprisingly huge, tucked away behind an unassuming entrance, off a minor road in a small village.
