The path is a muddy trail with only a short boardwalk, so hiking boots are essential as it was rather slippy when we were there, having rained a day or 2 previously. I loved how peaceful it was here and the scenic views up the...More

Ballaglas is one of the best glens on the island - a wonderful walk through the woods up to the railway station. It can be a bit rough underfoot so sensible shoes are recommended. (Tip: May is a good time to go when the Bluebells...More

A gorgeous glen hidden away in Maughold. Looks best in May with an abundance of beech trees with their fresh green leaves.

The geln walk takes you all the way to Cornaa beach, at the bottom of the glen there is a waterfall and a pool which is popular for swimming in. Its a beautiful walk and not too hilly so open to all abilities.
