Initially I felt tempted to only give 3 stars but after giving it more thought - I feel that it does deserve 4. Getting here involves a lot of tight country lane (not the fault of Hendrewennol at all - just a warning as we...More

I really enjoyed coming here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was loads of fruit and lots of space to run around and play. Play areas were nice. Teen and young children enjoyed. Fruit was dear but entry was cheap. Worth paying for...More

I took my sister and my niece here when they visited. The farm is really nice and we had a lot of fun picking the fruit. It is a shame that you have to pay an entrance fee, but I understand the reasons and was...More

Thankyou SWH100 for taking the time to review and for your feedback. Glad you understand the entry fee - it seems the only way we can cover the basket cost and counter the eating in the fields, which unfortunately is getting more of an issue...More

I trust you will re-read what you have written and re-consider. You appear to be condoning petty theft and then criticising us for trying to combat this loss (upwards of 10 tonnes last year) by our prices. We don't mind the odd one or two...More

I went with my two young granddaughters 7 & 4. It cost £1.50 each for them and £5.00 for me to just get one card basket and two plastic punnets (I thought we were cutting down on plastic!). The card baskets are what we have...More

Gerald K, Manager at Hendrewennol Fruit Garden, responded to this reviewResponded 2 weeks ago

Thankyou for taking the time to review - the entry charges are to cover the cost of baskets and to offset the increasing losses of people consuming fruit whilst picking (also known as theft), as well as to provide play areas for children and nature...More

We've been coming to Hendrewennol, on and off, for over 20 years mainly for strawberries. It's developed into an informal but high quality day out which is ideal for young children. Well signposted from the A48 and with plenty of parking the fruit farm has...More
