One of the most picturesque places I've ever been and the village surrounding is very scenic with the open bridge for the locks , it's a nice place for day trip outside Amsterdam.

Fun, well maintained. Guided tour included. You can get medieval clothes. However, it targets kids, so one might get bored after an hour
