Most recognized site in town. Standing next to the modern shopping mall/supet market. Photogenic place in Nampula. In side is easy and humble decoration.

This cathedral dates from the mid-colonial period. It is excellently maintained and in a very good condition, although most of the population of Nampula today is Muslim nit Catholic.

Looks just like the picture and not any better inside. Not worth a special visit to it, best bet is to get on a bus up north to the Quirimbus Archipelago

I liked it a lot. There's some cool stained glass, and the whole place has a lovely white modern feel. Shame there isn't much else in the city...

The Cathedral was a cool, quiet visit. Several sculptures, paintings, and stained glass. It is a beautiful site from the road, but just as lovely inside.
