Święta Lipka Sanctuary is a Roman Catholic basilica. It is a pilgrimage site and a holy shrine dedicated to the Virgin Mary. It was built during the 17th century. The basilica is one of the finest examples of Baroque architecture. The basilica is also famous for its moving pipe organ, which is absolutely incredible and you can find it on youtube. The basilica has also a very interesting history and it was one of the highlights of our trip to this part of Poland.

Interesting architecture both inside as the surroundings. On Sunday there are a lot of pilgrims coming.

100% worth to visit. The architectural complex consists of a church (built by the Jesuits 17th-18th century), cloisters and a monastery. Rich and varied ornamentation consisting of stone and wooden sculptures, paintings, frescos, golden objects, artistic metal craftwork and a valuable polychrome work have been preserved in an almost unchanged state. The most revered object in the sanctuary is the 17th century painting of Our Lady of Swieta Lipka in the high altar. If you are lucky you can heard organ as well. No fee for church only donation.
But-no free parking around the church.

This is a truly beautiful church, and one that visitors should spend some time examining all the art. If you arrive at the right time on the right day, you will be able to hear an organ performance of both religious and classical music. While there is no fee to enter the church, donations are encouraged.

The church is amazing and very beautiful, also the little town is lovely as well. Inside the church you can find very special organ with moving statues. You can hear them playing about 8 times per day and it is worth the visit.

This sanctuary is impressive: the interior of the cathedral is very beautiful and watching an organ concert is a special moment: the angels and various images move to the music making the concert very special. A must visit in this region of Poland!

One of the most moving masses I have ever been to in my Life. The organ is beautiful to listen to. Get there at least 30 min. beforehand or you won't get the best seats to take in the architecture, the paintings and the amamzing scuptures. There is a museum, free, and it was fun to walk aroung. Plenty of crafts for sale - the rosaries are less expensive as you get further away from the church!

It’s a must visit for Christians, architecture and art lovers. The church is beautiful and organs sound so good. I highly recommend 10am organs’ presentation. This shows the range, power and beautiful movable features (stars and bells, for example) of the organs. Obviously, for Catholics, the place has essential spiritual importance, which I don’t need to explain in here.

Does anybody know where could I find the schedule when the organs play? I was told that they play just few times a day and in winter only when there is a group of at least 10 people. What about now? Maybe someone can tell me exactly or - it would be the best - send me URL where I could check all the information myself. Thank you in advance!
