Observation hill is a bit of a hike, but worth the exercise. It is in the middle of the park and has great views of the lake and surrounding land. Take a hike up, have lunch while views the sights.

The view from the top is amazing, especially if you go during the dry season and animals are concentrated around the swamp

my wife and I climbed the steps easily to get a great view of the area, we were lucky to see the flamingos, well worth a visit.

Easy climb and very popular as a stopping place for picnic lunch. Animals in every direction especially Elephants but we did see almost all of the Big 5.

After a short walk up the hill, there is a covered area that is perfect for wildlife and landscape views. Lots of traffic and schoolchildren when I visited.

Nice to see the addition of a toilet block and some interpretation signs at the hill from 5 years ago. Still a spectacular viewing point, just a shame some tourists treat the natural environment with disrespect and drop litter - especially when there is a bin!

It's a good activity to do just so you can get an idea of how big the park is. Most of the park is dry desert and marsh Quite sad really

There are toilets at the base that can be used before climbing up the hill by the stairs. There are shelters and places for resting and watching the animals and the lakes. It will be useful if you have binoculars!
