Well-situated for a much-needed restroom break, as well as a good place for a picnic and shade. Excellent views in all directions.

Visited the Observation Hill in Amboseli National Park during our July 2018 visit. The swamp that was just below the hill in 13 is no more there. The view is beautiful though and we were able to spot a lot of elephants during our drive...More

As part of our day trip to Amboseli National Park we stopped at Observation Hill for lunch. Lovely location and great views across the vista. Unfortunately Mount Kilimanjaro was hiding but the Hill was a great stop to stretch your legs. Toilets available as well.

The observation hill is the highest point in the park. It's very picturesque and affords a good view of the park. You can also view the sea of flamingos. It's a very short walk up.

Offers great views of the plains and lakes below plus is the only spot in the park where you can leave the car. Expect nothing more than a hill with some stairs and viewpoints; you'll have to bring the rest yourself.

This hill is located a little away from the Marsh. You have some shelter here to have a picnic lunch or breakfast and scan the plains and marsh below.
