About
I am Nyoman and I’m a local guide. I come from a traditional Balinese family and I am 38 years old. I was born in Lovina and have lived here all my life in the village of Pemaron (Lovina province). I would like to introduce myself to you as your driver/tour guide in Bali, specializing in the Lovina area, having over 15 years experience. I believe that the Lovina area has so much to offer, such as a quiet and relaxed getaway from the hustle and bustle of Kuta and other well known tourist areas.

Through this company, I applied for Menjangan diving, Rovina dolphin swimming, and intercity transfer programs! The price was similar or a little better than other companies I searched online before going to Bali, but it was a little more expensive than the prices I found while walking around locally!
Recommended for those who want to make a reservation in advance! And since most tour reservations with travel agencies are verbal reservations through WhatsApp rather than systematic reservations through a system, there may be anxiety about whether there will be a mistake in the reservation! My first tour was Menjangan Diving, and the pick-up was scheduled to take place in Amed at dawn, but even though it was early, the tour arrived earlier than the scheduled time and was waiting for me. After that, even when I went to dolphin swimming and other areas, he always came earlier than the scheduled time and was waiting for me. (The owner in the photo guided us directly.)
I hope that the issue of no seat belt on the passenger seat of your car will be improved.
Menjangan diving was carried out in connection with another company. Although the divemaster was friendly, the guiding was not satisfactory. The Rovina dolphin swimming program was conducted privately by paying for two people alone, and the captain was very friendly and I loved it.
I went with the Sunrise program, which starts at 6 a.m., but I recommend starting at 8 a.m. rather than Sunrise. There were more boats at 6 o'clock than at 8 o'clock, and because it was the first time, it took a long time to find the dolphins. If you take the 8 o'clock tour, you have the advantage of going directly to the dolphins.
Although it was disappointing that the price was a little higher than other local companies (of course, there are companies that charged more than here), I was very satisfied that the owner was friendly and that all tours proceeded without a hitch.
Due to these advantages, I could have canceled my reservation locally and re-booked with another company, but I did not do that and kept my reservation.

The trip organized by Nyoman was great! He was always in touch, answered all questions while we were driving from Ubud by car, warned us that one of the roads should not be driven, it is not safe; met us personally, organized a hotel for us with a big discount from the Booking price, escorted us to the hotel and personally checked the comfort of the rooms. We arrived late in the evening, but he waited for us and met us personally. It's very soulful. We traveled with a group of 4 people. We had a separate boat and a very kind captain. We sailed for 4 hours on a boat and admired the flocks of dolphins from the boat and from the water. We went later than the main groups, so there were only 4 boats and we admired the dolphins all the time. The 4-hour trip cost us $25 per person. During the month we went to the dolphins with Nyoman twice. Incredibly interesting sight to watch dolphins and incredibly pleasant care of Nyoman. We liked the tour with Nyoman so much that we asked him to organize a private fishing trip for us and a trip to Menjangan Island. I will post my impressions after the trip.

We had a great day on a custom tour with Nyoman. He picked us up and took us to Bintaran village where we got to taste lots of local fruits, see amazing rice fields / temples, as well as a trip to the hot springs. He was on time and reasonably priced, and plans many other tours in North Bali (rice fields, dolphins, etc) - highly recommend!

Our driver told us the day before that there was a dolphin watching near the beach and asked if we were interested. It sounded okay for us hence we told him to book it. But this was the only information we had.
What we did not know was the fact that this was a mass tourism event with a massive number of boats and tourists.
The next morning we prepared and had to be ready by the beach in Lovina at 5h30. Only then I have noticed that this will be a mass organisation.
So the boats have been filled either with one or two people for people who booked a private session or with 6 to 7 people if chosen the cheaper version. And right before sunrise we went to the sea to ride in the direction where the dolphins were thought to be.
The ride took around 60 to 70 minutes which was a bit too long for my taste. Imagine you wake up at 5 am and an hour later you are sitting in a shaky boat for so long. And there was no further communication because the guys running the boats are not necessarily speaking English.
What was quite disturbing was the following. We reached a certain spot and stopped. With us approximately 70 to 80 boats, at least you get the feeling that it's this many. And as soon as someone spots a fin of a dolphin all boats run their engines and ride in the direction of the dolphins, literally like hunters. And this happened for the whole 90 minutes. I did not only feel annoyed and embarrassed to be part of such a low level activity, I also felt sorry for the animals. In all respects, seeing a dolphin in nature is one thing but chasing them in a completely uncivilised way is another thing. I still feel ashamed to have been part of this event and do not recommend it to anybody who has a heart for animals. I would have appreciated if the boats wait at the spot where the dolphins appear and just watch from a distance, why do we have to be 1 meter away from these animals? Isn't it the same animal that we see from 20 meters?
I hope this activity stops soon and we let these beautiful animals live peacefully in their natural habitat. It does not comply at all with animal protection regulations if you ask me. No animal would be happy to be chased by dozens of boats every 5 minutes.
Ps: I will post a video once I have reached my home country in order to show how it was. It is not as romantic as we see in the videos of the influencers.

We went to Lovina to do a slightly different tour of Luminescent Placton. I spoke with this company and they assured me that it would be seen, you have some photos posted that do not look anything like reality. He told us a three-hour tour and we spent 45 minutes if it arrived but more than enough at night in the middle of the sea and you couldn't see anything, some sparks that appeared in the water when you moved it but of course very far from what they promise, it didn't stop offering us a dolphin tour the next day, and taking us to eat wherever he wanted....he seemed like a sellout to me, I don't recommend it. He charged us for the entire excursion for 45 minutes of seeing almost nothing. I do not recommend this company, I'm sorry and I'm not one to complain, but I didn't like it at all.

Please do not support these types of tours. We booked the tour for 6am today (other tours start at 7am and 8am). Unfortunately, we imagined the whole thing a little differently. We assumed that dolphins would be observed from near or far as soon as they were sighted....unfortunately we were wrong. Nearly 60 boats go hunting for dolphins at the same time. As soon as one boat finds them, the other 59 move at full throttle to the same spot, triggering a drift hunt. The dolphins are rushed through the water and jump because they flee from the tourists. If you want to see these animals because you like them so much (as we do), your conscience will quickly catch up with you in this hunt. This is not the right way to see these great animals...I can only appeal to you not to support this form of dolphin viewing, you will be disappointed.

While on a cruise we came to Celukan, Bawang, Bali and hired Nyoman as our tour guide for the day. And what an amazing day it was!! He picked up 8 of us at the terminal and we went to the Tanah Barak Waterfall, the twin lakes lookout and then a perfect place for buffet lunch. He walked in each place with us and showed us things we otherwise would have missed, such as an avocado tree & pinaple bush and monkeys. He took us to a vegetable market where he bartered for us. We headed to Lovina and went to the museum.
Nyoman explained so much of this beautiful island to us and the thing I liked most is he didn’t just drop is off but came with us to ensure we got to the right place and paid the proper amount. I felt safe and at ease with Nyoman showing us around this part of the island. He will take out small groups or bigger groups and will make sure you get to everything on time. I highly recommend hiring Nyoman to show the island of Bali. His English is great and he is a patient and super cool man.

Nyoman is a relaxed and welcoming person and gave us a guided tour from Lovina to the waterfalls and ricefields in the beautiful inlands of Bali.
If you've only seen the beaches of Bali I would certainly recommend doing one of these trips and Nyoman can show you all the good spots.
Best thing of all was Nyoman inviting us to come to his place and have dinner with him and his family. We enjoyed it very much as did our 3 year old son who immediately befriended Nyoman's youngest son (and his toys).
So if you are searching for a driver/guide for the northern part of Bali, you should definitely make use of Nyoman's services.

This was an excellent experience from start to finish. Nyoman was a great host, we contacted him on WhatsApp, he replied within minutes, and we had a dolphin boat tour arranged for the following morning, including pick up from our villa. We liked the later start time on offer, sailing at 8.30 am for 3 hours. The dolphin watching tour was fantastic fun. You can get into the water from the boat and be pulled through the sea alongside the dolphins. We had a 3 year old with us, and he was fine on the boat. The captain looked after us all very well. After the dolphins, we went snorkelling. A thoroughly enjoyable morning and unforgettable experience. Excellent value. Thank you, Nyoman.

Just amazing! Definitely a huge highlight on our trip!
Our friend recommended us the tour to swim with the dolphins after she had an amazing experience and it truly was the best decisions to choose this tour.
We had a bike transfer from our hotel in Lovina included and our guides where so friendly and we felt safe the whole trip. They made sure when it would be the right time to go dive in and always looked out for us if we needed a break. We had so much fun with them too!
We saw so many dolphins, swimming around us and jumping up, doing twirls and we also heard them soo many times when we where in the water!
We'd definitely go again with them!
