The Piazza Baldassarre Galuppi is the central square in Burano.
It's a bit smallish.
The square is surrounded by the St. Martin's church, tourist shops and restaurants, which makes it the most crowdy place in Burano.

This little square could be missed if you rushed through it on the way to the shopping street, make sure you take the time to stop and take a 360 degree look aroung, the local church and its own leaning tower in on directon, lace shops in the other and a very neat and clean town square to explore.

Piazza Baldassarre Galuppi has a statue of Venetian composer Galuppi. The square is named after him.
As you head inwards to Burano you will come across this square. There is a church, a leaning tower, lace museum and more colourful houses.
There are also some stalls selling good aimed at tourists, tourist tat I call it.

This is a vibrant place to walk around and see the sights, shops, sounds and watch local Burano life. Nice for couples to walk around I think.

As opposed to just one or two houses this piazza offers you many brightly colored buildings to take photos of in this vibrant town.

We were lucky to visit the Piazza on Saturday when locals were cooking up tasty fresh seafood on BBQ and playing wonderful music. Made the atmosphere very nice. Felt like Italy!!! Great

Quiet by evening, packed in daylight. If you look quietly you can hear the laundry drying in the breeze.
