This island was a lovely relaxing day but the shops and restaurants on the inside of the island off the main beach front were a bit grotty. The toilets were certainly the worst I've seen in Thailand. And sadly I think (cannot be sure but I think) I ate some dodgy food as I was quite poorly after visiting. :(

I have been there twice. To me, among Phuket, Phi Phi Don and Railay, the last one is my favorite stop. It is a small island, so easy to go around and enjoy the three different beaches in there. If you look for relaxation, this is really the best place to stay. For those who like nightlife, in the east... More

I've written a review for Pranang beach so the main idea is that a visit to Railay involves a visit to Pranang beach and also Railay West. Railay beach is worth Swimming at and better experience than at Ao Nang. Haggle with your Long rail boat for price if you are taking a private boat. Plenty of restaurants, walking streets... More

I took a boat taxi from Ao Nang beach, just less than 30mins away if the weather is in your favour. I walked from Railay West through the food stalls to View Point. After climbing the stairs, the view was worth the climbing and the walking. From there, Pranang cave can be reached on foot too. Nice place, clean water... More

We traveled all around Thailand and this was our favorite spot. We stayed at Rayavadee which gave us easy access to the beach. The beach is wonderful with unbelievable views. Even if you're staying at a far away location, Railay deserves a trip.

Nice beach, cliffs are beautiful. But far too many long tail boats. Very touristy. I visited in June and the water wasn't very clear either. Overall great beach...would stay here again if I came back to Krabi. Railay Beach is a great spot to stay.

If you happen to be in Krabi, stay at least 2 nights in Railay. There are a lot of activities you can do here. From rock climbing to snorkeling or just chill out by the beach.

This place is hipnotizingly beautiful, with great and friendly atmosphere. One of the best sunsets in Thailand. Many options for food and drinks. What can I say? One of my favorite spots in all Thailand!

Railay beach was nice ..but we couldn't enjoy much as it was raining heavy and we had to stay on the shore as tides were high ...we still enjoyed the view

Beside of the rain, it was great to be there. Both sides are really nice and you have a very calm and coool place to relax
