Way better than Ao Nang beach and make sure you try the smoothies and spicy wraps. The beach has the best kayaks and paddle boards too.

Most things in Krabi involve paying for the privilege and it's a little bit underwhelming when you get there - this one is actually worth going to.

Great spot, beautiful... good beaches for kids.. easy to travel... only stayed two nights but could stay longer ...very relaxing

Famous Railay Beach is just around the corner of Ao Nang. You can reach it easily by longtail boat but I recommend other close by beaches instead. + Beautiful nature + Nice water - Lots of people and boats - Beach is pretty dirty

I did not see any lockers but if you only take a small amount of money for food and drinks and leave valuables at your accommodation. Bags and towels etc seem pretty safe on the beach, we left ours but we were only swimming... More

Echoing the above - the long boats are the typical transport. As others have mentioned, these are on the "roughing it side". While that's one reason I enjoyed it, be aware that these are not the same as the luxury boats... More

The seas generally pretty flat. unless there's a storm due. you could watch the weather reports and make your mind up then. there's life jackets on the long tail boats. your could charter it private then you can go atvyiurs... More
