From ao nang beach we took a longtail boat to go to railay beach. The ride is nice and the view is beautiful. We got at the beach in the morning so there was not a lot of people, very cute beach surrounded by mountains. But there were a lot of vendors and all kinds of service like massage and... More

First saw this place as folk were getting dropped off from the Koh Lanta ferry. Looked amazing & we thought we should've booked accommodation here. Glad we never as it is pretty rammed with tourists. It is great to see though & we came 2days in a row from ao nang 200 bahts return. Head around to Phra Nang beach... More

Railay beach has gorgeous views, white sand, perfect water temperatures, and a lovely tropical setting. Sunset is magical. Railay also has too many people, trash in the waves, and the resort vibe is overtaking the local feel. Go for a day, clean any cuts, and experience sunset. Then take a boat away.

we stayed at the Railay Village Resort during our 5 night visit, the location is breathtaking the huge Limestone Cliff formations will leave you in awe, the early morning hours are the best to visit because only a few long tail boats have come from krabi with tourists. On a beautiful sunny day this area is a Zoo I want... More

Second time visiting Railay. TBH it was a bit shabby round the edges this time and there is a substantial litter problem both in and out of the water. Too many human beings! It's a cheap day out from Krabi town at 300bht return on a long tail. I'd happily pay more if I thought the money went on cleaning... More

Beautiful place! Loads to do! Will defo visit again. Stayed in Avatar hotel, very nice and cheap! Be aware of that the access to the Railay beach is only by boat.

The beach is surrounded by impressive limestone rocks which are inspiring and the sea is gorgeous. On the downside, too overcrowded, and toilets were vile, take your sanitiser.

My friends and I traveled far for this beach - and it did not disappoint! The water is super clear, and luke warm, few waves. Lots of people but tons of room on the beach, there are many restaurants off of the beach and great fruit smoothies!

Amazing island, there are 3 beaches but weast railay is most beautifull. Trip not only for sunbathing but also for mountain climbers and regular tourists, can spend whole day and not get borred. Very cheap to get to from ao nang (only 200 bth pp two ways).
