It is not very easy to spot as it looks like a vertical wall. I was in flip flops and bought some crocs nearby otherwise i would have not been able to do it. Climbing to the view point is ok, but the descent to...More

If you choose to risk the 1000 baht penalty for ducking through the ropes, you will go through a 20 minute scramble up and down to the lagoon that includes two rickety ladders and a 10 ft knotted- rope assisted down climb (huge foot placement...More

I know many people do this hike every day and I’m really amazed that there aren’t more reports of accidents. The last decent into the lagoon is nuts for somebody who isn’t accustomed to rock climbing. Yes there are bamboo ladders, but one of them...More

As you will see from most reviews on here the climb is a challenge so would only recommend if you fit and able and wouldn’t recommend for kids. At one point we were going to turn back but met a couple coming back who gave...More

So we were wondering along the trail & spotted a little sign for the lagoon. I’d heard that it was a bit of a climb but beautiful there (& less ppl), so we thought we’d give it a go. Now when I’d read posts on...More

It wasn't the easiest climb but as long as you go slow and are careful, you will be fine. I did it in bare feet and was fine. I would recommend wearing clothes that you don't mind getting dirty as the rocks can leave red...More

Climbed here twice while I was at Railay Beach, the first time at night after watching the sunset at the viewpoint, then again the next day. The water is murky, it’s not as nice as i imagined. I enjoyed the barefoot climbing, while it was...More

My wife and I decided to hike to the viewpoint and the lagoon, and after reading reviews knew that we had to have good shoes and lots of water (very true!) Luckily for us it hadn't rained in several days so the trails were about...More

Hard to get here, you have to climb up onto a steep hill first, then crawl deep down inside the cliff, but it is a MUST DO thing in Railay. Trainers, lot of water are recommended. Worth to spend and hour at least here, this...More

-Longtail Boat from various jettys in A N -Not really about time, more about weather. -Set aside 20mins-45mins -Footwear is crucial and the lookout point can get very crowded
