We loved the cooking and farm experience with this wonderful family! It was our favorite experience in Crete. They taught us how to make bread, a soft goat cheese, and a Crete pastry. They let us interact with their animals and try milking their goat. They are inspirational in the way they work the land in such an respectful and environmentally responsible way. We enjoyed a really delicious lunch using what we had made and some other special Crete dishes they had made.

We spent 5 days in this FABULOUS place! it was a wonderful experience. Wonderful location, surrounded by nature, beautiful house, completely rebuilt as the houses of the past, cozy, relaxing, aesthetically stunning. Wonderful showers including one on a balcony overlooking the mountains and olive groves. Comfortable beds, very relaxing environment. There is the possibility of making coffee or tea in your room, and for breakfast you can move to a hotel in the center of the village that has one of the best breakfasts I've ever eaten! The hosts are wonderful people, kind, attentive, discreet, available. In the evening being able to stay by candlelight or oil lamps is a very special experience that does not take away any comfort at all from the experience indeed, increases the feeling of slowing down, rest, and relaxation!
the experience at the farm was also really beautiful and enriching as well as made human connections that will stay with us!
We will definitely be back!!!

Torneremo sicuramente!!!

This was such a treat. And in fact the highlight of our 18 days in Crete. We stayed at the farmhouse for two nights and also got to experience some amazing things. Food. Dancing. Banking and cooking.

Brilliant for anyone. Kids couples or grandparents

We (6 people) stayed for 1 night at the farm. We were instantly amazed by the beautiful house. All the candles and oil lamps were lit and we got a nice tour first. There were 1 indoor and 2 outdoor showers with beautiful views. A small dinner was prepared in case we didn't want to drive to the village. The breakfast was very very good and special. Not the standard bread with Nutella.

There was a warm welcome from all the family. We made bread, cheese pies and fed the animals before eating our food and enjoying the local wine and dancing.

We had been enjoying the hospitality of Kyria Katerina of Keramos studios at Zaros village over the last few years, along with the adventures in getting to know the rural life of Crete, as demonstrated at the Kamihis Farm by Michalis and Velina.

Each visit is an experience by itself! Homemade bread baked in wood fired 🔥 oven, crispy potatoes fried in virgin home produced olive oil, to mention a few, is a small sample of the tastes and activities shared with heartfelt enjoyment next to the well preserved farm.

To our pleasant surprise, the farm now offers residence in its brand new traditional stone and wood cottage, constructed nearby in a most breathtaking peaceful environment.

We look forward going back in the next season for anther unforgettable life’s experience!

Nice place in the Hills with natural Food an traditional Cooking...
The kindly owners bring the traditional way of life from Crete closer to the visitors. Suitable for children. Explanations during the visit are varied and the children are allowed to help everywhere. See, feel, taste

I took my mother to Crete for her 60th birthday and wanted her to have an amazing experience. Visiting Kamihis Farms helped make that happen. Just driving there was gorgeous! We made bread, cheese, and got to hear about amazing traditions. The food we ate from Karob cakes to eggplant spreads were AMAZING. It's a must visit!

Hosted by a delightful family who give you a real insight into the lifestyle of Cretan farmers and how they have lived for many centuries.

There are goats (to milk if you wish),pigs, donkeys, sheep,a cow and a horse.

They are obviously passionate about what they do and they transmit their love of nature to you through a well polished programme that includes baking, dancing, eating a traditional Cretan lunch and trying their home produced Raki.

I would recommend for all ages.
