We went for the long walk where we could actually go inside the volcano. Quit an experience to feel the heat, see the steam and smell the sulphur.

I have had a lovely trip to Taal lake and Tagaytay a couple of times. From Manila you can drive along SLEX and continue to the STAR motorway. Take the Tanauan exit and turn right towards Talisay. After a few kilometres you will be driving along the lakeside where you can stop and take a banca ride on the lake... More

A beautiful site at various angles from Tagaytay. Tagaytay a small quaint town located near the lake has very good eating places. The Taal ( volcano ) is located in the middle of the lake. One needs to go by boat and then on foot or by pony to top.

Have passed this amazing sight many times and often stayed for lunch as it really is an eerie experience, but as some reviews have mentioned, beware of the crooks and scams.

If youre on vacation in Manila, you definitely need to see the Taal Volcano. Beware of the people that try to sell you a boat ride. Just go straight down to the strip where the boats actually are. There a bunch of houses that do the rides. Choose one that looks best. Haggle the price. Always bargain half the amount.... More

Taal volcano was pefect, you can choose to take a horse or hike up there. we hiked we loved it. But if you're not fit take the horse up. Its a hard walk up. But well worth your time. The view is priceless and somthing i will never forget

This is a great day trip from Manila and definitely worthwhile if you want to see some beautiful scenery. The hike up isn't that difficult but a horse would make more sense if it's really hot.

Tagaytay is always worth the drive. Great scenery, fresh air, and some good food. My tips are: Go to People's Park for the view. Beats anything along the ridge. Costs just P20 parking and P30 entry. Drive: Via Calamba/GMA. (use Waze) saves huge time compared to the usual Tagaytay Santa Rosa road.

This place is everything it makes you appreciate nature so much more. It all starts with an amazing boat ride, one of those not so normal but most amazing one. It's about 25 mins long, when you reach you get the option to either ride or go on a horse back to the top. We walked all the way and... More
