A place for nature lovers. I suggest that you go there hiking from the bottom. It will take around 3 hours to reach the top.

Used to be that the place is green with lots of trees surrounding it... Today, it's riddled with gray "developments" reducing the charm of the once laid-back place where one can have a picnic for free or you can bring along your packed picnic bag......More

Climbing a volcano is no petty adventure. One reaches the Taal by boat. Then you hike the steep mountain on the rundown and dusty ash trail (1h30) or hire a guide and a horse to get you to the top. It's hot and hard work....More

You can always hire a car/taxi to get there. It is cost about 4500 peso for a car and upon reaching you need to get a boat for 2000 peso to cross the island. Is good if you have a group to share the cost. This is the driver... More
