It's definitely something to be recommended to families with kids wanting something more adventurous. But heed weather warnings. The boatman might try to cross choppy waters, but don't risk it. Go only when the weather is stable!

You can always hire a car/taxi to get there. It is cost about 4500 peso for a car and upon reaching you need to get a boat for 2000 peso to cross the island. Is good if you have a group to share the cost. This is the driver... More

Not sure about the villa you mentioned but I use only Peso throughout my journey.
