Recently reopened after the threat of closing due to budget cuts, this remains a brilliantly run museum. Suitable for all ages with working spinning machines, lots of informative talks and a working water wheel too! Absolutely worth a visit.

We had a good first impression as the reception staff were helpful and friendly. The mill was interesting. As it had been both a woollen and cotton mill. There are good displays and clear information.
