It is a formidable entertainment parc revolving around the Rothaus beer and other alcoholic products (a.o. Whisky). Visit the museum and the brewery, eat in the restaurant and have a beer on the terrace in the sun. For the guided tour of the brewery, plan...More

I've been to several brewery tours before but this is the most informative one ever. The tour comes with a free bagel and a beer and the souvenir shop has plenty of interesting merchandise (their merch luggage was really cool though a bit expensive).

Came with a prebooking and the Black Forest card which gets you a discount on the tour, so I only paid 6 euros. Wonderful and informative tour (although in German, but I got the gist), and very typically German in the attention paid to the...More

The audio guided supplies a lot of interesting information pieces about the history of the brewery, its connection to the black forest and the brewing procedure. Well designed and maintained- and the beer itself is very good too

See earlier account of visit twinned with that of the brewery restaurant. Well done, informative, clear. With multilingual headsets. Huge play area for children. Great shop.

We didn't tour the brewery, just ate in the restaurant. Possibly the best meal I've ever had! The steak was so tender and delicious! The vegetables were delicious! Highly recommend it!

We chanced upon this brewery by chance, after seeing lots of establishments with the Rothaus sign outside thought it was worth a stop. As the brewery is apparently the highest in Germany it was no surprise it was snowing as we walked over to the...More

The self guided tour was a nice short diversion for the day. We love or little pine cones. The little playground/park was great for little ones with several neat contraptions to play with. The nearby park with the wood carvings is also a nice little...More
