This zoological park holds many species of wildlife unique to the Pyrenees Region, including bears and wolfs (with the chance to stay overnight near both - at a price). We fed Marmots (crazy little animals!), saw otters (and giant otters) playing in the sun, watch vultures waiting for their dinner and had cheeky little monkeys inspecting my backpack for food.... I have been to many zoos, but this park is different. One walks quite close to the animals who are in protected areas, but (mostly) without cages. Nearly every animal turned and came toward me when I walked past. I suspect they are used to being fed by the visitors. I was there first thing in the morning and the... More

What a great place. Animals have good sized enclosures and seem well looked after. There appears to be a good level of investment with many parts looking recently created. At €18 for adults and €13 for children it was €62 for a family of 4. We were there 3+hrs and felt it was worth the it entrance fee. A highlight... More

We absolutely loved this place. We read lots of positive reviews before we went and they are all right! If you are anywhere nearby it's 100% worth the effort to go!

We drove from Moliets de MAA to visit the Pyrenees and stumbled across a flier for this park . We revisited the area the next day to check it out at the request of my 6 year old son and 3 year old daughter having already covered a 600km car journey the day before. I'm so glad we returned ,... Few words can describe the pleasure we felt in visiting this animal park. No wonder it’s considered as one of the best (if not the best) park in France. We visited the park on Thursday, 11th August, 2016. It is set on a picturesque hillside, which is already unusual in its setting. Even the view from the car park is... More

Great small zoo/animal park. Primarily the animals from the Pyrenees. Makes a good day out when cloud cover is low and a day in mountains is not appealing.

While you think you can go to a zoo anywhere and so you don't want to visit another one while on a holiday, this one is a must see. It is set on a picturesque hillside (already unusual in its setting), this also incorporates a petting zoo for kids - something that our kids just loved. It is a smallish... More

We made the hour drive from Campan with our 6 year old boy who is obsessed with wildlife and we were not disappointed. The view from the car park is odd as the entrance sits at the bottom of steep, tree covered slopes which leaves you wondering how big (or not!) the park will be but once inside you get... More

We visited this animal park in July and had a fabulous time there. Setting is stunning and there are a wonderful variety of animals to see. Feeding the marmots was a treat and being able to climb into the goats enclosure was a bonus for the children. Altogether a great day out. Staff were particularly helpful. I left my mobile... More
