Visited on a very hot afternoon and just did the garden visit as one of our group was in a wheelchair. The access was OK, but pushing a wheelchair across the gravel is hard work. Once inside it was slightly easier going and it is...More

Just a visit to the gardens left us amazed. My camera’s battery was exhausted, as were we in the incredible heat.

This is a must see if you are in the area, absolutely beautiful, plenty to see and lovely places to eat just down the street. Not really a place for kids unless you have older kids into history but well worth the trip.

Great example of a medieval castle turned into a renaissance chateau. Still in private hands so only a portion of the interior can be visited and only as part of a guided tour, but what there is is magnificent. Well worth a visit.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the Chateau this morning. The tours are usually in French though there is an English tour at 2.30. My tour was in French which I speak reasonably fluently. Our guide really knew her brief and was keen to share...More
