For me the best part of this zoo was the bird collection. The zoo exhibits a good range of Australian indigenous birds in good aviaries. There are koalas but not many marsupials other than the kangaroos and wallabies. The children can walk through the kangaroo...More

We visited looking for an activity for children in the adult friendly hunter. The zoo was lovely. Feeding kangaroos and farm animals. Great access and visibility to all the other animals. Really clean and well presented. We would visit again.

Great zoo with friendly, engaging staff. Keepers walk around with animals to look at and are happy to chat/answer questions. Kids can feed a variety of animals. Variety of animals and size of zoo makes it particularly good for younger kids but take your own...More

Took the family, was very impressed handlers walking around with animals for kids to touch and feel. The staff most friendliest ever. They never once ignored a child or adults questions, 10/10.
