Crystalclear and beatiful coloured water with tons of fish in it to swim with. What a beautiful natural pool. Easy to reach by colectivo from Playa del Carmen. Jump in the water, take a swim but also brink or rent snorkling gear. The underwaterworld is gorgeous. A place not totally overrun by tourists yet. You can easily practice your spanish... More

Our first cenote visit of our stay and it was the perfect kick off for our tour. We all loved jumping off the pier into the cenote and exploring some of the little caves. It looked like a lot of scuba divers were also enjoying the deeper explorations.

I had a really great time there, met some people, there are mostly locals who don't speak English, so be prepared. Snorkel equpment absolutely recommendet! Bring your own or rent it there, it is totally worth it! Entrance fee has gone up a little from what I read online, but still worth it (about 100 Pesos, if I remember it... More

This is an absolutely gorgeous place to visit. Really refreshing dip, especially after walking around in the heat (we had gone to the Tulum ruins right before). We had to get to our scheduled visit at the Jungle Place so we didn't get to enjoy this stunning place as much as I would have liked. I'm looking forward to coming... More

This was the first of four cenotes we visited, and it had by far the most amount of life of the ones I saw. The sailfin mollies in particular are fun to watch - the males court the females by showing off their fins. There's a platform that you can dive off (just watch out for snorkelers and scuba divers!).... More

The water is crystal clear and perfect temperature! We spent about 2.5 hours here swimming and jumping off the 20ft cliff. Someone is watching people? Not sure if he is a lifeguard or what. You can change here and use the bathrooms. Someone was coking hot dogs and selling chips and pop.

Prior to our trip, we checked out the many cenote options. We narrowed it down to open cenotes (rather than below ground cave/rive cenotes). Once we arrived in Playa del Carmen, we asked locals which ones to explore in the area. Cenotes Azul, Eden and Cristalino were recommended in part because they are located within walking distance of each other... More

We had a short visit here but it was worth it. The experience is not that expensive for what you can do. Go here remembering that it is an experience you may never do again. And think of the crystal clear water!!!

If you plan to dive maybe is the best cenote to visit, but if you plan just to know what a cenote is, pass this one, I was very disappointed the way they maintain the place and the worst part my car got damaged in the bad called parking lot.
