Wow! Can first impressions be decieving? The answer is an unqualified YES! When we first pulled up to the entrance to the "Viejo Oeste" Theme park (15 minuets north of Durango City, Durango Mx...) I thought to myself: "Here's a tourist trap if I ever saw one"....I was wrong. We had fortuantely stumbled upon this attraction at the very moment... More

There have been over 150 feature films made in the State of Durango and this village is the movie set for many of them. You can rent a horse, take a buggy ride, dress up in period costumes for pictures, have a drink or something to eat in the restaurants and watch an old wild west shootout on the main... More
