It was insanely relaxing and perfect. Extremely immersed in nature. Not too hot at all on the day we went, and multiple different levels of hot water so you can choose. There's also a beautiful river to dip in. Absolutely a must-go.

This site is worth the visit if you desperately want to sit in a hot spring. The road in is extremely rough, I felt so sorry for the driver. The hike in is not too long or hard. I think it cost us $3 to get in which is decent.

The hot springs were an option as a tour with our hotel. We had a driver pick us up in Boquete and bring us here. The road in is definitely bumpy and muddy. There are apparently two options to choose from. You can go to the more natural ones in the river which I believe you have a short hike uphill to get to.
We chose the more "manmade" spring that the owns of the farm built. We could drive right up to it. There are bathrooms and showers available.
It was a beautiful little spring that was made to look more like a pool. The water was warm but definitely not hot. I believe the more natural springs are hotter.

We had a lovely morning there and really enjoyed the solitude and beauty of nature around us.

We came to the place when it was already dark and I thought for a while that we are not able to find it. However, we found it finally and the owner let us to overnight under the roof at the terrace of a small house. We took a bath already in the night including the bath in the river where you can go from warm to cold water. In the morning, we enjoyed this once again being there almost alone. We admired also beautiful butterflies. It is not for tourists who expect standard tourist places with a lot of services and sterility but I rate it very high.

A series of small springs on the way to the river. Slightly underwhelming but I appreciated the nature.

Seemed clean to me. But my travel buddy made me aware that there are local families in the area that use these hot springs commonly to wash all things.

If like us you get the bus to Caldera it is then a 50 minute hike on a rough road and then a trail and not well signed. When you do arrive you pay a small fee to enter a farm field where there is a small thermal pool. You can also walk on to the river where in places the water is hot. The meagre change facility looked daunting. For us the long hot hike did not yield much in the way of results, although perhaps more enterprising owners could change that. Last bus back seems to be at 4pm, so we had to rush back to avoid getting stuck there.

Very fun, we went to 3 hot spring and the river. Other locals were there, they were very cool. To get there you need a 4x4 and do some walking

After reading the reviews this place really was a positive surprise! We took a public bus from Boquete (2 dollars) which left us to a junction from where it was a nice 45-60 minute walk to the springs. The pools were really natural, the water was clear and there was a lovely river to cool down after the hot pools. Getting back to Boquete was a bit tricky since the timetable we checked from Mamallena hostel’s wall before leaving was not accurate and the 1:15 bus never came. After waiting 45 minutes we ended up taking a David-bound bus to the David-Boquete road and from there, after waiting a bit more, another bus to Boquete. If only there were a bit more frequent bus service this place would have earned 5 stars from us!
