It’s a great place to visit with families - there’s so much to do. AQWA, great food options, the beach, the boardwalk, etc

Plenty of car parking makes this an ideal spot to bring small kids for a day at the beach. The beach is enclosed containing shallow water allowing kids to do plash/ swim in safety. Because it's enclosed it tends to be sheltered from the sea...More

My cousin has forgotten to remind us to bring our jacket or sweater. While waiting for the sunset, wanted to walk at the beach but unable to go as the wind was so strong. Very nice view altho we're in the car.

Met up with family, convenient place for the kids to swim and play. Would like to see a little more shade around, but it wasn't bad. Lots of options for food, and considering how busy it was due to the school holidays, it wasn't so...More

It is not actually a dog beach. Many people walk their dogs along the board walk on a lead, there is a coffee shop behind the yacht club that is dog friendly and provides water bowls etc.
