We walked up the fine gravel lane to visit the burg. There is a sign that describes that only the lower portions of the castle remain. Interesting story about a forgotten prisoner as well. Like most old castles there is not a whole lot to...More

The fortress is really just a shell, but the views are wonderful and the two grandsons 12 and 13 loved climbing all over it. Easy access and a parking lot just at the foot. Very narrow streets though.
