Particularly good in winter when huge flocks of ducks gather,also at high tide the estuary birds come to the fields by the hide.Great info boards on visiting birds.Well laid out and spacious.

Went there on the recommendation of an interview in BBC Radio Devon with an RSPB person who said that there was a spoonbill to be seen. 200 - 300 yard walk from the neatest parking, but a well equipped hide with warden, coffee and settees!...More

Situated down a long narrow lane, only 2 disabled parking spaces nearby, closest parking is road parking a few hundred metres up the lane, new hide, large viewing windows overlooking tidal pools, super views of curlew, black tailed godwits, spoonbill, green sandpiper.

A delightfully peaceful place, volunteers are very helpful and sometimes coffee is also available. But only one disabled parking space adjacent to entrance

We live nearby and visit regularly, especially the garden more than the bird hide and buildings, my 9 year old loves looking in the undergrowth for insects and he's seen mice which he loved, he went into the building once and enjoyed using the binoculars...More

Nice hide for viewing if the weather is inclement, but good anyway for viewing Green Shank Whimbrel water fowl. Couple of Car parking spaces for disabled right outside. Else it's a short walk down a hill for nearest parking. A short walk further on you...More

There is a board with the more common birds to be seen, but all the other people there were more than happy to share their knowledge and point out widgeon, curlew, godwits etc. Great views. Easy access. Fantastic for children.
