Dobrovo castle is in the middle of Goriška Brda, slovenian Tuscany with beautiful landscape. In this castle is good restaurant and museum and some painting exhibitions. Nearby is also wine cellar.

Nice for a quick visit, but there is not much to do or see out there. If you have not much time in Brda, there are better places to visit.

Well, the Castle looks nice form outside, but nothing considerable is inside. The entreca fee is 2 euros, what is not much, but you get nothing for your money. 4 rooms without any English subtitle.

Very nice stop. Can spend 30 minutes or a few hours. Dobrovo itself has good amenities. Near Italian border.
