Whe we entered the zoo we found a lot of empty enclosures in the entrance area (we thought that we wasted the entrnce fee). After getting farther in the we found a lot of interesting displays.

This is a really nice, little zoo. It's within a forest area so lots of trees all around and big, wide pathways. There are lots of Canadian animals, including grizzlies, as well as a few monkeys and a komodo dragon.

A great place to take your kids or grand-kids ... fine for adults too. Constantly improving ... It gets a little better each time I'm out.

I always love visiting the Berry Barn. Lots of gift ware to browse through, the food is delicious and the view is unsurpassed.

My grandchildren had really enjoyed our first time at the zoo. They were two years older and enjoyed it even more! Our only disappointment was that we were unable to find the red panda. Good family outing.

We took the free train ride through the zoo and then walked around a bit to see some of the exhibits that we didn't see very well from the train. The komodo dragons were amazing to see and were the main reason we went. We...More

We walked around for a couple of hours with our 9 and 6 year old. We discovered everything by foot first and then took the train to see if we missed anything. They loved it. Favorites were the monkeys and the grizzly bears. We started...More

As far as I know, most animals are rescues and even though they have been rehabilitated, cannot be returned to the wild due to their dependence on us for care and feeding. This is the case for the eagles and grizzly bears... More
