This is a very fine museum with lots of activities for everyone. They change their programs often so you can re-visit and there is still more to see.

Thanks for the great review Chris. Our little train is called the "101" and will be up and running this summer - it is the only operating steam train in Saskatchewan. Do call first or check our website for hours operation.

This is a very well laid out facility. Clean and informative displays. A nice atmosphere for self education of history.

Well laid out displays, lots of space to walk and sit down if needed. Museum is full of transportation themed displays. $10 gets you in the door, which is cheap for what can be hours of entertainment. A gift shop is located at the main...More

Only 10 bucks for admission and a wonderful bit of history. Everything was displayed very well and there was quite a bit to take in.

This branch of the Western Development Museum focuses on transportation - and they've done an amazing job. There's a Snowbirds display and then a huge hall with planes, trains, and automobiles from Model Ts through 1950s and 70s. There are railway engines and planes that...More

This place is huge! You name it, they probably have it. Great dioramas, informative displays, and well set out in specific interest areas. Well worth the admission, but be prepared to put quite a few steps on to see the whole show.
