Perched on top of a mountain, accessible by car or on foot, this sanctuary deserves fully it's name. A small chapel made of stone, overlooks miles and miles of mountains and valleys so noteworthy of the Eastern Townships. A path through the woods surrounds the sanctuary, making it ideal for resourcefulness.

A great place to get a view of Sherbrooke and the area. Nice walking paths with statues of Biblical scenes. Amazing small chapel to visit.

Sacred heart church itself is tine but quaint stone church The gospel walk was the real highlight for me-a guide takes you along the trail to different statues depicting stories from the bible and presents a reflection and gives you food for thought Also a nice store with many religious articles and food from the local monks

I would highly recommend Beauvoir for people who are interested in relaxing and feeling the spiritual atmosphere that is there. There are paths for walking and pauses for spiritual understanding. There is an old church that is interesting to visit as well as a newer one where services are held. In the summer time, there is an outdoor area with... More

Le Santuaire De Beauvoir is an amazing place to visit even if you are not religious and are looking for great architecture and historical value. It is in a very beautiful setting in Sherbrooke and sits atop a beautiful mountain. It is not far from downtown and you will fully enjoy the opportunities to take pictures and if the weather... This is a lovely place to go with the family. The view of the surrounding area is wonderful and there are little paths (amongst the religious statues) in the woods. The walking is very easy (and short). Great for small children or elderly.

The Sanctuaire is a very nice place to take a walk and reflect on your live, even if you're not really into religious beliefs. It is peaceful and the landscapes are wonderful. I took great photos there ! There is a little chapel (almost creepy) that you can visit. It's full of history. You can also buy multiple things at... More
