We brought in the new year surrounded by many French speaking locals. There was a great live band, the crowd was very involved with the countdown, and the fireworks were decent.

You could spend a day here. The tours, historical presence and the food, ahhhhhhhh the food. You get away of the tourist driven activity and get to see Quebec people, history and pallet. Louis Hebert comes to mind. outdoor or indoor.

An easy walk from Old Quebec and well worth the time. We enjoyed a wonderful outdoor dinner. The area is quirky and very fun.

This street seems to rock during the day and night except early morning. It features bars, restaurants, hotels, parks and even the elegant Parliament building. During my Quebec City stay, I found myself on its wide sidewalks a few times because our hotel stood only...More
