There are 3 different caleche (carriage tours) available. We selected La Decouverte. It was a 40 minute tour of old Quebec. We enjoyed the narrow winding streets and old buildings, observed the fortifications, the Hill and various statues and fountains such as Fontaine de Tourny...More

We waited most of the day to get a ride, something that my wife just had to do. Great decision. Tom (the horse) took us on a tour of the Old city while Dennis explained the sights. I knew a fair bit about Quebec City...More

We shared the carriage with another couple and did the basic city tour. The guide was very good and gave clear information about the history of the city as well as some snippets about modern Quebec. A good way to see the highlights.

The website says it's $100 for 40 minutes to book a tour. According to some of the past reviews, it's 90$. My question is that, has the pricing gone up, or is the website charging a booking fee? Should I just go to one of the horse carriage stops, or should I book one online? Thank you for your help!
