This is a beautiful drive and lots of cathedrals. If you need some down time or just enjoy beautiful views it is recommended. We did not do the entire route only the portion heading towards Montreal.

This is a wonderful drive that extends from the New York state border (Fort Covington) for 1,000 miles all the way to the end of the Appalachian mountain range. This road felt like a lazy Sunday drive with a view that just did not quit. The towns and farms along the way offered rich history, great food and microbreweries... We traveled the first week of July encountered only a few fellow campers on the way. We are planning to return and explore more of this beautiful part of Quebec.
