The view was okay, it was smoggy, but still viewable.
It’s on the 34th floor, but it was difficult to get up there. We wandered around for 10 minutes before we found security who explained we had to take the elevator and purchase tickets (which we thought were pricey for what they offered). In order to get tickets, you had to fill out a form on a Canadian computer (different keyboard). It was very confusing, the clerk was very annoying, continually chatting with another couple.
We do not recommend.

Very unhappy with the check in process. I had to use a computer (they only have one computer for the lines of visitors) to manually type in my Name, Address, Phone Number, Email Address (twice) and then select on same computer my choice of ticket. Next I had to manually enter all my credit card information on the same computer. Hasn't this company heard of touch screens and credit card readers?

Tickets must be purchased on-line!! No where on the website does it say you can not buy tickets at the door! I went to the 31st floor and a young lady told me on-line only. She had a computer there but I did not want to put my banking information into someone else's computer.

You can see these views from many other points for zero cost just before you enter old city. Yes, it is a walk up a hill to see views for free. Charging $14 is really a ridiculous price to look out at view from a window.

Hi bestfamilyadventures,
First, thank you for your feedback. There are several magnificent places where you can admire views of Québec City. But the Observatoire is the only one where you can see Parliament Hill and the surrounding area from 221 meters up!
We hope you will tell your family and friends about this beautiful viewpoint. Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback.

Peak a clear day and you will enjoy it greatly! Best views of the city...not only the most notorious places, but finding the red-roofed house, the beautiful buildings seen from above and just the movement of the city. I like information about the town displayed in the wall and the short video film by a drone

This place was really quiet with lots of seating available to enjoy the view on each of the sides. Plenty of information available too. Maybe because it's a little tucked away with no signage on the streets. We assumed it would be round building on a parallel street & we later discovered that's exactly what friends had also done previously. Cost about $10 each & a good uphill walk from the centre. I'm sure that there must be a good bus service up there too as it's a busy district. We thoroughly enjoyed it & thought it worth the walk.

Going up the Observatoire de la Capitale was the last thing we did during our visit. It is totally worth the money. I think it is more fun to do at the end of the visit to see everything you have seen again. Staff was extremely friendly. Look out for coupons. Usually you can save 20%.

Besides the grand views you could see from all directions, the walls are decorated with facts and figures about Quebec City, the Province and Canada. A fun visit and easy to get to and quite reasonably priced

We stumbled across the Observatory, and decided to go up. So glad that we did. It was a beautiful day with clear skies, and gives such a good overview of the city

Probably the best aerial views of the city, but a bit pricey given there are no tour guides. The videos were not the best quality

Hello ATLWorthy,
Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience. It’s good to know that, in high season, you can find a guide at the top who will be pleased to answer all of you questions and give you all information needed. However, you must know that we have guided tours for minimum groups of 20 people. Those can show you about the city, its history, and its status as a capital. Leave it to us to lead you through 400+ years of history. For your next visit, check at the ticket office or on our new website http://www.observatoire-capitale.com/en/plan-your-visit/group-tour/guided-tour/ to find out more about our tours. Also, you must know that our immersive areas includes several archives and a video shot from a drone with the latest technology. But the breathtaking view is the main attraction, in addition to The Horizons experience and its immersive areas. Hoping to have clarified some information, we wish you a great day. We hope to see you again with family and friends.
