Makes accessing Quebec City easy with parking right at the terminal and no traffic. We stayed in Levi's and took the ferry across on two days and it was such a great introduction to the city without worrying about the traffic or parking. Efficient ferry and cheap as well.

Our taxi driver from the airport recommended that we'd get great views of Quebec if we took this ferry. He was not wrong and it's a cheap, quick ride. There didn't appear to be much to do on the other side, so you may want to make the return trip immediately...though you'll have to disembark first. We found a nice... More

The ferry takes about 12 minutes to cross the river and costs only a few dollars each way. It's gives you the best view of Chateau Frontenac, and the best is at nighttime when the Hotel is lit up.

The cheapest way to take the best pictures of Chateau Frontenac and Place Royale. Take a ride on the boat with a bike, car, running shoes or barefoot.

Good way to get an overall view of the city though it isn't the cheapest at $3.55 per direction. Fast frequent service depending on time of day. Not much to do in Lévis unless you want to walk up to the town.

My partner and I used to the ferry to get to the far side of Levis on the south shore. The main bridges across the St Lawrence are on the otherside of the city so if your in Old Quebec and wish to visit Levis this is definetly a good transport option. The tickets are only $3.55 each way, and... More

If you take the ferry at night from Quebec to Levis, get off the ferry and catch the next ferry back to Quebec City simply to take pictures of the city skyline. It is stunning with the Château and Terresse lit up. All told, it will take you under an hour and cost less than 10$.

Taking a car on a ferry is a new experience for me. With that said I found it to be very efficient. Children 4 and under ride free so with our SUV and two adults, it was $14 CAD one way. Ferries ran every 20 minutes when we arrived at 3:30pm although I noticed the frequency reduced at 6pm. Google... More

While in Quebec city it is a must to take the ferry to Levis with a return ticket. Nice promenade on the other side and the view of Quebec is something else to discover.
