One of Quebec’s best-kept secrets is the ferry ride to the town of Levis (directly across the St. Lawrence River) and the spectacular view of the city. Located at the heart of Old Québec, the roundtrip takes about 45 minutes. Daily year-round 6 a.m.-2:20 a.m.

only 14$ for a car with 5 people (3 children), very convenient. We took the ferry from Levis to Quebec and the view of the city was very nice. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed being on the water, but the trip across takes less than 15 minutes, and unless you are biking there is nothing on the other side. We got off and then returned on the next trip.

This entire trip lasts for less that 20 minutes I think. It was an inexpensive way to get the best view of the Old City from the water. Don't blink, de-board, and return. I did not regret doing this. It was one of the best...More

It can be a bit busy but once you're out on the water it's peaceful and your relaxing as part of a captive crowd of likeminded ferry freaks (or may be just the ordinary commuter or two). Levis is a welcome relief from the bustle...More

It costs so little ($7 roundtrip per adult; kids go free) for the best view of Old Quebec. We couldn't get answers by email, so we showed up mid-morning at the Levis ferry dock. It's set up for quick flow; you don't need to enter...More

We took the ferry at dark to get views of Quebec City at night. For $7 Canadian, we had a round trip to Levis and back. Our photos turned out beautifully. As a bonus, there is an excellent brewery a short walk from the ferry...More

With a $7 for round trip you could enjoy the beautiful sunset with the view of the whole city! Departure right on time, not too many people, clean and nice. Only regret was that the sun was before old Quebec not in the front so...More

One of the simplest, inexpensive activities....the Levis side is very nice, and the timing between ferries was perfect to just relax and take in the view. Highly recommend!

When we took our bikes across to Levis on Sunday afternoon to access the bike path on the south shore, there were more bicycles than cars on the ferry. Great views of the city, convenient schedule, inexpensive: a positive experience.

If you like ferries, this is a short, pleasant ride which gives you a view of the city from the water; it’s not actually all that cheap, though, and there’s not a lot to do in Levis that we could readily discern.

A google search of the ferry shows prices from $8.40-$16.50 depending on the size of your vehicle. That includes the driver but I believe each additional person in the car pays. Google will lead you to the website for a more... More
