It is something to see when in Quebec City.

This is a beautiful church inside and out. The inside as a lot to see. I have been there when I was young and I was happy to see it again with my husband. There is a little chapel on the other side of the street, not sure if it is open during winter. It is free to go in,... More

Come back another year. The restoration work takes away the grandeur of this amazing building. It is frustrating in its current state.

i've been in a couple of times. If you are a fan of old wood and stained glass you have lots to see. It has a feeling of charm and honesty about it. We stayed for service, part of it is in English. Save it for a rainy day, light a candle and enjoy a moments peace and quiet.

Worth a visit in the centre of Old Quebec. Under construction when we visited but still very nice to see. Great canopy over main Altar. Worth a visit from a historical point of view.

Gorgeous, historical cathedral. Beautiful stain glass windows, statuary and architecture. Absolutely lovely!

I had hoped this would be the highlight of my visit to Quebec. Unfortunately, the nave is entirely closed for restoration, and so one must navigate the aisles to view the altar... standing on plywood and beneath scaffolding. In my view, one can't get a sense of the grandeur of the place with the nave blocked in this way, and... More

The architecture both inside and outside the cathedral is incredible. I took so many photos! The cathedral is an active church, so care needs to be taken not to disrupt service in progress, but don't hesitate to quietly explore the beauty of this building.

Definitely worth a look/walkthrough. Amazing structure, also free which is worthy of mention, we spent an hour onsite.

Renovations were taking place in Feb 2017 with majority of church sectioned off. Check ahead if this is a must see for your visit.

The cathedral was under construction when my boyfriend and I visited, February 2017, but it was still worth the stop. Beautiful inside and out.
