Just five minutes from downtown, the Clock Tower Beach on the quay of the same name, offers sun, sand and a unique holiday atmosphere.

The Clock Tower Beach features heaps of soft, silky sand, lounge chairs, colourful parasols and a wooden boardwalk. While swimming isn’t allowed, Located at the base of the Clock Tower, the beach affords a spectacular vantage of the St. Lawrence River, the Jacques-Cartier Bridge, Île Sainte-Hélène and Old Montréal.

The Clock Tower Beach area is a hidden gem in downtown Montreal. Here you can enjoy sun until or simply sitting to watch people and boats go by.

A little stretch along the river not too far from Old Montreal and near the tall Clocktower. Nothing special, don't bother.

Beautiful day spent roaming around old port Montreal. We did zip lining and road the big wheel. We roamed the maze and did paddle boats

Like everything else in Montreal in the summer of 2019, hard to get around due to all the construction 🚧. Parking and finding streets to get around were tough.

it is just at the end of the old montreal port, there is nothing specifically special or great about this, you may as well skip it if you do not want to take that short walk to the other corner.

I don't get the good reviews for this place. It's small, boring, and expensive ($5 to enter a beach?). If you're in the Old Port, you may taķe a look, but it's definitely not worth your time.

Wow. I walked all around the city and landed here for a 2 hour beach break! It was a gorgeous day so that helps but it was free that day and not a lot of people. It has a snack shop and water misters and outdoor cold showers to cool you off. Also has Adirondack chairs and umbrellas. The location is great. View of city and the river. What a treat

Located at end of park past the La Grande Roue De Montreal you can walk up inside the clock tower (approx 192 steps).

There is not a large viewing area at top so wait for some people to come down before making final few steps to top my advice.

Good views from the top over the surrounding area.

Below is the beach (if you can call it such) but still nice place to sit & relax.

Here you will find eatery & toilets.
