As I child we often went on trips to the local high school to the planetarium there. It was the stuff of dreams. Our experience at the Rio Tinti Alcan Planetarium was a good one. It was a small facility but we enjoyed both the...More

It has been years and years since I've visited a planetarium, and assumed this would be like those previous trips. We bought combo tickets with the Biodome for Program B. We weren't sure exactly what we would see, as the information sheet was in French....More

In this beautiful building, we expected more. There are a few displays, then 2 movies that are each shown in seperate planetariums. In both of the movies, there is comfy seating, soft music, the lights go down, it is very quiet and dark....you know what...More

This is a beautiful space with lots of interactive exhibits for both adults and children. My 5 year old daughter was so intrigued by the show we watched. Very informative, especially on the day of the solar eclipse.

We visited on a rainy day... Purchased the package for both Biodome and Planetarium. The Biodome was worth it, even with older teenagers. The planetarium was ok, not very impressive. However the shows saved the day... I noticed many families had brought lunch and coolers...More

We bought the package for the planetarium, biodome and insectarium. Bought online after advice from friends. The first planetarium show was fun and the kids loved the beanbag chairs. It was educational and tied into the meteorite exhibit in the museum area. The museum area...More
