We found the station across from where we stayed, Hotel Bonaventure, to be clean and very convenient, as it is loaded various shops, fast food eateries (not my style), but also souvenir shop, Starbucks and a small convenient store to buy water and apples and...More

Everything in Montreal was lovely. Amtrak had brought us there and we stayed several days, enjoying the city and its sites. Beautiful town.

We took the train here from Ottawa and soon will be off to Quebec City. I haven't taken the train in years, but the new Via Rail is a marvellous way to travel - I love it!

50 CAD per person from Toronto to Montréal. The reason of low price is because we bought early. Otherwise tickets are really expensive that you may prefer air flight. But if you have time it is a good opportunity to rest, read and see around....More

This station is a wide open space, with a nice bistro, Second Cup and gift shops. It is easy to find the building (walking distance to many downtown hotels), and easy to navigate to your train gate once inside. Lots of space (no crowds).

You could download the app or booked through their website and try to do your booking on Tuesday that is when they have good seats sell. A couple of weeks is plenty of time to book ahead.
