Me and my boyfriend took the All-in-one morning tour, the scooters were super fun but the tour was not very informative. Unfortunately, our guide did not provide us with much history and information about the city. It is a fun activity but not a good tour.

Spend my birthday morning, August 6, taking a tour with my mother and sister. We met two others who were also visiting the city and all of us were guided by David. He is the most patient, helpful, and fun tour guide ever! His first concern was for everyone's safety and spent extra time making my 68 year old mother... More

It was the most fun of anything we did in Montreal! My daughter who is 19 loved it. She doesn't have a driver's license, but manoeuvred the scooter well. Our guide was great, and very careful. The owner of the shop was very generous. We got rained out our first day and got a rain check for another day to... More

What an amazing, fun, exciting way to see more of the city. My husband is an experienced motorcyclist, but I had no experience riding at all, so I was nervous about riding in Montreal traffic. After the short lesson and first few minutes on the road, I got comfortable riding between cars - it happened a lot quicker than I... More

My husband and I were in Montreal celebrating our 32 anniversary and we decided to tour Montreal via electric scooters after reading the reviews. I can't tell you enough how much we LOVED this tour!!!! David was our guide and he gave us a safety lesson first and then took us all over and around the city. He stopped to... More

It ended up being a one-on-one with just myself and the guide and I had a fantastic time. He made sure that I know how to operate the electric bike and safety was the first concern. We rode all over the city, from the markets, along the canal, up to the lookout on Mount Royal. I had the chance to... More

We toured Montreal with our guide David on July 25. It take a little getting used to. David determined that we were not quite ready for the streets of Montreal, so we headed down to the bike trail along the river and Lachine Canal. That was a great experience. We got to view Montreal from "below". We rode along the... More

We were told to get there 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork. Another group of 3 were told get there 30 minutes early. We ended up waiting at least 45 minutes after our tour was supposed to begin. The person who had us fill out the paperwork had no idea why David, our guide, was late and there was... More

Renting the scooters is definitely fun and highly recommended. We booked the guided tour for $89 each, and were quite disappointed by the quality of the tour. Our guide Leonie was the front bike rider, but didn't take much care of us - barely pointing out any attractions, no anecdotes or stories, and not very experienced at leading a group.... More

The group was large (8), the guide arrived late, the area where he normally trains people (a condominium courtyard across the street) was unavailable because security guards categorically refused because of a daycare there. So after 15 seconds of training (the time it took to roll the bikes across the courtyard) we moved the bikes to the street. The scooter... More

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colourful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
