I attend the LNI night at the club for the first time and really enjoy the atmosphere. The night was a success for myself and the staff respect the timing of the show to provide you drinks. will go back!

Venue and venue staff were great! Crowd was a let down. Out of town visit for a punk rock show. Expected the crowd was going to want to move around and dance but apparently that's not what Montrealers do. The more I tried to dance the closer the people near me moved in until I was boxed in unable to... More

The staff here the night I attended a comedy show were absolutely rude and unaccommodating. I am in a wheelchair and the night I attended I was in a manual wheelchair. When my companion misunderstood instructions by a staff member while waiting to enter the club we were then berated and yelled at by that same staff member. Needless to... More

The show was hilarious, we found it better than last year (we attended also the Ethnic show 2015). The host Rachid Badouri was very funny and Godfrey was very funny too. Ambiance at Club Soda was great (as always). One thing that could have been better: the sitting for those who come after the show has started. A couple came... More

We visited for the JFL Ethnic show - the show was great with good comedians. We laughed all night. Service was good. There could have been more chairs to make sure that everyone could sit for the show.

Don't believe the negative reviews about this place. There were enough seats with everyone having a good view. It was all general admission except some more expensive tables of 4 right at the stage and front row on the second floor. There were some nice second floor seats along the sides and some bar stool tables along the sides of... More

Fabulous experience at Club Soda seeing the wonderful Susie Arioli!! Had never been here before nor had the pleasure of seeing Susie perform. What an outstanding night!! Great venue, everyone is guaranteed a good seat!! Bar's upstairs and down making it easy to replenish fluids!! Look forward to coming back next year!

We attended The Ethnic Show during the Just for Laughs Festival and it was awesome. We had so much fun - it was a total blast. All the comedians were funny. The staff was excellent. The establishment is pretty big - we were in the balcony but could see, hear without any problems. It wasn't expensive for tickets (about $40... More

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theatres, and exhibition centres are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
